BigT's Video Editing Ideas & Tips First thing you need is a good camera. My new phone has a damn good camera and shoots front and back. Use the screen as a monitor using the back camera lens and do a practice pose to make sure you are in frame. Secondly, Give yourself cues in your video. Point at the camera and using your fingers count 3-2-1 Action.....Then pause for the count of 3 then do your video. You need to give yourself time for your video editor...it makes it easier to do exact slicing of the video. If your doing a long shot, give yourself cues in video for things like stepping away from the cam then cue yourself back in and always wait 3 seconds before starting. Those tips will help you in editing. Always come up with your own material and be as original as possible. Use your cam very often, doing individual shots and sequenced shots....Crack an egg on the edge of your mixer bowl....great shot. It's all up to you really and being creative with shots are keys to a great video. With open shot you can overlap a track for a simple transition. The scissors icon once pressed will cut your clip then press again to put it away. Intros and outros are great ways to start and end a video.
